i'm going to go through it again for sure, because i definitely didn't dislike what i heard, just thought it all started to sound a little homogeneous after a while, like drake isn't challenging himself artistically. but then, that's a little unfair, given how varied and aesthetically unique his other albums were. by comparison this seems like a collection of joints he recorded on the fly and threw a few samples into.
i wasn't big on take care or thank me later at first either though. his albums usually require repeated listens to really enjoy, i find
