The neckbeard comment makes no sense.

I just think it's a stupid way to start an album and the song is just alright. Gospel autotuned to hell.

Honestly wish this started at Famous, but whatever, I'm alone here

but goddamn a lot of this really sucks. this is so uneven. yeezy should've cut it wayy down. a lot of unnecessary garbage that makes this hard to listen to

I definitely prefer the original "Waves" track listing:

Famous (previously titled Nina Chop)

Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1

Pt. 2

Waves

High Lights

30 Hours

No More Parties In L.A.

Fade

FML

Real Friends

Wolves

Ultralight Beam

Feedback is a little simplistic, but it's a nice change of pace. Definitely growing on me.

Feedback is a great song, imo.

FlagAsh, I just don't see how that could be so off-putting to you, but to each his own. I really like DM but still think some of the genre tropes (sex/gore shock value stuff) are really stupid so I guess that's similar.

In all fairness, the album doesn't feel like it has 18 tracks.

well yeah because a lot of them are just short shitty unfinished-feeling snippets. yeah, it doesn't feel as long as 18 tracks, but there's a lot of unnecessary stuff here regardless

I was really disappointed, really disappointed. No More Parties came out and that put my hopes up like 10 feet. Then 30 hours and that put my hopes up even more! So I'm pumped to watch snl, right? But then I see young thug is there. I thought maybe it'd still be dope, becaus3 thug can flow. Nope, autotune bogus, with actual good singers too (minus the dream). Why, Kanye? Why? What IS it with autotune? You surround yourself with so many expressive and talented vocalists and you choose to sing with autotune. It destroys the tone. And it's not just that, where are New ideas? Ultra light? Real slow, too auto tuned. I like the soulfullness at parts. I like Chances verse. Don't like the instrumental. Father pt. 1 and 2? Fucking bogus. I'm actually offended. But you know y'all will ride his dick for something that's totally not Kanye. Its future, young thug, drake, beyonce. Not Kanye. Make your own music duke. There's only 5 songs I like. This album is Fucking garbage. It'll take some time for the hype to settle, but it's nothing even close to deserving of the praise it's already getting. I'm kinda mad, because now I don't know if K actually is better than this. I'm tired of his name influencing shit, but that's the nature of the beast. Slap an "artist x" sticker on there and this album would just have good production value.
