not pop punk in the same vein as The Wonder Years, but the more melodic Lillingtons tracks definitely fit into the whole Ramones/Screeching Weasel style of pop punk, as do many of the bands I listed.

Madelyn just feels so out of place in TGG for me, and soupy singing in his high voice on an acoustic song makes it grating on the ears for me. same reason why I don't like his mountain goats cover on the Aaron West album; if Dan sang in his softer voice on both those songs, I would really like them.
