idk, i enjoy kendrick's new album and it has some of my favourite songs of the year so far, but there's a lot of filler on it imo. good kid was raw, creative as hell, and insanely catchy. the new one has a lot of boring choruses and slick production that starts to sound kind of samey after a while

definitely didn't feel this at first but i'm slowly falling in love with it. i thought it was lazy but after focusing on the lyrics, the beats are perfect. perfectly dark
