I think it's a 'strange' album, I find it their hardest album to get a handle on...that of course being both a good and bad quality.
Their early stuff is more raw, lo fi and eccentric - but the albums have more obvious intentions. This sprawls in an odd way.

Disappointing, Modest Mouse is one of my favorite bands. I hope it grows on me some..

Probably gonna bump it up..I've been listening to it on a little road trip and it sounds a lot better this time around.

Pretty sure my low expectations help me enjoy this a lot more. I still play this every now and then, it is on my Brew Day playlist.
