this album reminds me of a book by Clive Barker - Abarat. It's got these crazy paintings he makes from oil on canvas by carving lines with steak knives. vivid colors, fantasy creatures and horror/heroic plotlines.

this album is like the sonic version of that, to me.

AND is also really good. crushingly heavy at times (hyperborea, murder)

Actually donated to them to watch it because I felt they deserved it . Still have it all saved somewhere what with all the extra info it came with. Remember them having a tour pic in there of pg 99 carved in some venue wall and a bit about how much it meant to them

This is still by far their best album, but AND is pretty underrated. If it weren't for the occasional meh track and pointless interludes, it's a fucking great record and I Think We Are Both Suffering From The Same Metaphysical Crisis is still the ultimate HtB track.

@strizz i love the instrumental/chill bit with just drums/keys/david's guitar solo in that song. super feels.
