'oh, and typing this gem: "not to mention I'm an extremely meticulously-visual person; innately."'

Lol, that did get me.

I do. It bugs me. It detracts from the feels of the show and gives off a generic fad vibe. Not sure if you are but it seems some are offended by my bringing it up. Not sure why as it's my opinion, not to mention I'm an extremely meticulously-visual person; innately.

I agree with this too captain however, sometimes corny antics on stage are hilarious to watch.

Coordinated headbanging is all about awesome metal, at least from where I stand.

And yeah, theatrics in metal are totally needed.

Everytime I watch the "War Ensemble" video from Slayer, I get serious goosebumps when I'm watching them banging their heads together.

The synchronized headbanging was fine, but the synchronized guitar lifting/tilting looked pretty lame.

lol I knew someone on sputnik would have a problem with that.

Admit it Cap, if you were in DC playing crushing old school riffs you would be doing the same thing.

Seen 'em in Pittsburgh and I was pretty much doing the same thing.

Awesome show btw.

it doesn't mean it's coordinated like you're implying it is. i hate to play this card, but as a dude who played in a two guitar band for a long time, sometimes things just occur naturally when you're jamming/practicing and they carry over to the stage. like sometimes we'd do shit like that, but not because we sat down before the show and drew up the play with x's and o's on a white board, but because we had played that song a million times and we had gotten into a groove of how to perform the song. that seems like what was going on in the link imo

This is a beast of an album. You can really hear the Autopsy influence on it.
