Nightmares and Ruin are both significantly better than everything else they've dropped. You should hop on that.

I've always been wary since there's plenty that say those are their worst but I should at least try their 2nd album since it still has Sam.

Sam is at his most diverse on Ruin, he has some sick lows on it

I'd say Holy Hell is the worst one now

Ehhh...All Our Gods doesn't resonate with me at all aside from like 5 tracks. Same with Holy Hell. They're both tied for the worst atm.

I like All Our Gods a little bit more, but both are just worse versions of this

Agreed. Hopefully they let Josh loose on the next album cus I'm so tired of this sound now. I need him to bring some of that Sylosis thrashy style riffing to the table.

Yea they're in severe need of a change in sound. We got a short two minute style change on Holy Hell, but there needed to be more of that

"Sam is at his most diverse on Ruin, he has some sick lows on it"

That's true, bzt I read in an interview that Samn could not pull this off during live shows. The songs on Hollow Crown worked for some reason though. At that time Sam didn't know what exactly he was doing and just tried different things.

I can see why you like this over AOGHAU, but tbh after hearing one Architects record I just feel like I've heard them all.

That's kinda true for their last three records. Daybreaker and the stuff before it are have more diversity. Actually their first 6 records are pretty good. 7 and 8 are the ones one does not necessarily need

Songwriting-wise I prefer All our gods. This one has silly BMTH-copy moments (yeah, the devil is near lmfao) and not a single memorable moment. Daybreaker has several quality tunes and a number of stinkers.

What man. This is more memorable than AOGHAU. I don't know shit about BMTH pre Sempeternal so idk about that part. I love The Devil Is Near though. That one rips and is just perfect

Steak and Jeet The Here and Now is easily their worse album.
