Yeah, I've finally accepted that The Face Beneath The Waves is awesome. Seeing it live was one of the highlights of the night.



And I swear, No Resurrection reminds me so much of Degausser except with a completely different vibe. Great song.

I don't even remember which tracks on this are the worst, this is the one AFI album where the shitty production just kind of makes everything blend together for the most part. Only things I remember about this one are that Heart Stops is a fantastic pop song, Greater Than 84 is just tremendous and Face Beneath The Waves is a killer closer as always.

Heart Stops is wayyyy catchier to me although 17 Crimes is really hooky as well.



I Want To Destroy You from Crash Love also has this kind of garbage production which is just perplexing. It's like they took the worst produced song from that album and said 'let's make out next album sound like THAT'... Thankfully Blood album sounds much better as far as clarity goes.
