It's kind of like he decided that Take Care was too all over the place, and he decided to make a much more focused album that cut down the frills as much as possible. I prefer Take Care's grab bag approach, though. This is too same-y throughout.

The most impressive track for me is Worst Behavior, just cuz it's interesting to me to seem him try to be as hard as possible. It's hardly convincing, but the track still bangs regardless.

Too Much is a dis track about his family. That's kinda ballsy too.

That "Courtney from Hooters on Peachtree" really gnaws at my heartstrings, probably because my "girl who got away" is named Courtney too.

I think it's cool how minimalist he is compared to most rappers, but the lyrics and singing/rapping aren't always enough to keep my attention in the absence of big beats.

Oh yeah, I'll get in on the fun too......

Drake the kind of nigga who tell a girl he isn't in the mood.

I can see it now:

"Girl, I ain't feelin it tonight. This is the anniversary of when I broke up with my first girlfriend in sixth grade. Shit don't feel right."

"I hear ya baby, no problem" (girl steps into next room, calls her best friend)...."OMG! I just slept with Drake!"

For real though, I like Drake. He's a nice dude. He did a show in my town (Champaign, IL) a couple years ago, and afterwards he cruised around our dinky downtown bars for a while and bought a shit ton of drinks for people just because.

artist description may be a little outdated

Drake, better known as Aubrey Graham for his seven-year run on the hit TV show, Degrassi, is a Toronto native hip-hop artist. Drake staysmostlyunderground, releasing mixtapes instead of albums
