"The darkest song on the album is followed by the lightest song on the album. The opening and main riff of "Gypsy" are very catchy, and the guitar solos are fast and insane. You're not sure why Diamond is singing about some gypsy on an album that had previously been occupied with the occult, but you still enjoy his vocal performance."

Probably because gypsies in some folklore made a pact with the devil? And if nothing else, the majority of their lore is entirely steeped in the occult. I've never been able to figure out what the song is supposed to be about either (other than maybe an orphan looking for a lost parent), even with the lyrics, but it's still clearly related to having a bond with the devil.

He's a seriously great singer. You hear people mention him when it comes to vocalists but I don't know if people understand just how talented he is. I'm convinced he could do super popular pop music if he tried he just chooses to do this kind of music. It takes some serious chops to control his voice like he does. Throughout his entire career, really. He's also a really polite guy irl apparently. I'm done blowing him, but seriously think about it. this guy has incredible voice control.

The main riff in a Dangerous Meeting was written by Dante Alegheri in 1565 when he was envisioning what Satan sounded like for Dantes Inferno

A lot of people don't dig the falsetto is the reason, I'd say. But yeah he's the man.
