That song is one of the best 2 minute songs ever, if not the best

“Don’t Panic” is perfect as it is, wouldn’t want it any longer than it is. Short and sweet.

I personally think it's a perfect 'wallowing in sadness' album. It's nicely innocent and naive.

"I've actually never heard this"

But, certainly you should, clay. And yeah, it's nicely innocent and naive. It's one of their best albums with "A Rush Of Blood To The Head" and "X&Y". I think the rest is probably dispensable.

viva la vida and mylo xyloto are worth a listen too. mylo xyloto is very divisive though

I've heard Rush of Blood (Good) , X and Y (patchy but I like it) and A Head Full of Dreams (Not Good).

I've heard Yellow a thousand times and I really like it.

This album is all about Shiver and Sparks. Two of the most romantic songs ever.

Spies, Don't Panic and Trouble have something to say about that my friend.

Trouble was the first Coldplay song I ever heard and sort of wore out its welcome over time (no fault of the song obv.). Spies and Don't Panic are both excellent too, I just have more of an attachment to Shiver and Sparks.

Both brilliant songs without a doubt.

Only real misfires here are the last two tracks and even they aren't that bad.

AROBTTH is another issue though, starts out with like 5 of their best songs and just fades off until Amsterdam.

Never been able to get into AROBTTH; like you said it starts off strong but I lose interest afterwards.

I like all of these, couldn't start picking any favourites here. I think what I'm trying to say is: I agree with all of your picks.

Also Pleb We Never Change is perfect 'feeling sad' music and Everything's Not Lost is perfect 'stop feeling sad' music. Perfect combo at the end!

shiver and sparks were never really that big for me on this

Everything's Not Lost is a lame closer imo :/

I slow danced to Sparks on my wedding day. It's been on my wedding playlist ever since I was basically a teenager

High Speed is the stupidly underrated one here imo

Agreed, it's like a more accessible Radiohead song
