Really loved one of his Boiler sets (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jW-ItsXazM) but I haven't been following his work for very long; was pretty surprised that he could DJ too.

That's the one I have on my iPod - I hate to say "background music" to someone I love as much as Simon Green but that's what this set has been relegated to for me

i really struggled and still am struggling to accept clean vocals in electronic music.
When i saw bonobo live, i was so stoked to hear him open with cirus, then a chick came in and sang for the rest of the set.. i left.
Im open to SO many genres, but clean singing with anything electronic (house, minimal, dub, techno etc etc etc.) just doesnt work for me.

considering how jazz-influenced a lot of Bonobo's material is I don't see the problem with him incorporating vocals into the mix. I think it blends perfectly with the moods of his productions.
