tbh this guy has a remarkably small number of rock solid tracks when you consider how many hundreds he's released...maybe that's the reason
|
| |
Nah man he’s got heaps of bangers

He probably has ten classic mixtapes with back to back head to toe bangers, loser

And colton the sosa you need to listen to is ALMIGHTY SO
|
| |
I mean if by classic you mean one or two great tunes while the rest seem more or less like throwaways with beats and hooks you forget immediately after the 2 minute long track finishes
I bet he would even admit that none of his releases have bangers back to back
But I respect how he basically created his own subgenre and his crazy work ethic

There is not one single chief keef release that is like that in the slightest

DP beats + sosa = greatest combo in music history

bftd2 is top 3 sosa for me without a doubt, but i would never rec it to someone trying to get into keef. that's def one of his more challenging works. almighty so is great too

Nah back from the dead is classic too every song on that is truly a banger, thats when drill first came on the national radar and basically the most straightfoward drill project from sosa other than bang. On Finally rich he was knee deep in pop songwriting and starting to experiment into a more cerebral aesthetic, then bang2 and almighty so + the slew of loosie classics from that time (2013/2014) that firmly planted keef in the avant garde and ushered in the new wave of chant/mumble rap that might suck when done by most other rappers but when done by sosa is GOAT hip hop FIGHT MR BITCB

Nah the goat is Young Thug but Keef definitely had his influence and popularized drill. Love Sosa has gotta be one of the most iconic songs of the 2010s

Chief keef is more influential and goated than thug i love young thug but theres no denying he was influenced by chief, you’d have to have been there, thug was unique but everything changed after dont like love sosa and then the bang3/almighty
