I would think extreme passion would also entail having the dedication to learn how to do something right.

Also very late... this is one of the only metalcore albums i can stand. mainly because its one of the first modern metal albums i heard when i was an impressionable young 'un, so maybe its just a nostalgia thing. maybe i should lower my rating slightly, as when i put this into context and compare it to the music i have heard more recently, its not as strong as it used to be.

This was one of my first introductions to metalcore back in the day and it will always have a place in my heart. Even if I don't listen to it much anymore and the band have moved more towards a glam rock style.
Oh and one of the first songs I learnt to play on guitar fully was Second Heartbeart.
