"The Seer is as massive of a record as Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven, but it is decidedly less structured."

Way to compare two completely DIFFERENT albums and your only reason in doing so is because of the length? You might as well compare this to Zen Arcade then.

"a downbeat post-rock drum section reminiscent of the midsection of Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s East Hastings"

Once again stop comparing this to godspeed

"‘The Seer Returns’, a work that recalls the perverseness of Trent Reznor’s The Downward Spiral"

STOP COMPARING THIS TO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TYPES OF MUSIC THAT HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON!

and your review would have been better if you had actually listened to their earlier stuff and if you were more familiar with the band's back catalog

Converge is probably less sophisticated than his behaviour here on Sp00tnik.

Graveyard: It's an emotional connection, mostly. But after relistening to Children of God, I pick that. Tied with The Seer, and no, I'm no hype-rider on it. Swans have been my main nigga for the past few years perfect for raves and when I hang with my buds and fist-pump out car windows
