The new singer sounds similar to Jon... But it's not the same. Still very good though

Their bassist does vocals for Cult Leader, I believe; idk if he ever contributed to Gaza records vocals-wise.

After all the Gaza drama, then their break up, idk what to think about this band anymore.

I'm kinda wondering why did they bother changing names and everything if they weren't gonna change sounds at all rather than just go on as Gaza without Jon

The name was tainted, whether shit happened or not.

People are still talking about them badly for connection alone; I think I saw some people even commenting on them helping Jon out on the whole thing or not

But I guess it is easier to start over.

Only for Jon, the band had to distance themselves. I'm sure other shit was going on even before that.

Just don't bother about it and just be glad they're not gone completely

I doubt, if anything happened, others had any idea what occurred. And if Jon did anything, would he really tell the others? We'll never get the answers, but I'm sure only Jon and the girl know for sure.

"but gwyn your point is sound.

a band can ditch a vocalist respectably in such a scenario and still retain some dignity. the change is quite questionable"

yea I still stand by what I said in my original post, but I'm just saying that starting a new band from scratch is definitely the easiest route to go

Also, I'm looking at a few videos with Jon right now and I'm having a hard believing her story even more. He seems like a humble and smart guy.

I'm just going to try and pretend the lead singer doesn't exist because he's not relevant to my life anymore, whether he deserves to be locked up or not.

So I'm just going to hope I forget his name by tomorrow.
