"After five years of attending Linkin Park’s funeral, it’s nice to see them alive and kicking again, but we’re going to need to see quite a bit more before we can call it a comeback."
Ughhhh I wish more people here liked A Thousand Suns as much as I do

nah this is 2nd best behind ATS for me. love the super video gamey sound of the synths

Album Rating: 3.5
never thought of it like that, but you've nailed it, I love that too
|
| |
Actually I liked how they mixed here the electronic stuff of ATS with some elements of their older shit, specially in tracks like lost in the echo
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.5
yeah lost in the echo is a great example of that
i love the electronic aspect of a thousand suns which is partially why it's my favorite of theirs and i think they did a good job focusing it a bit more on here resulting in a less interesting but more accessible sound which is easier to blend with the elements from their first two

Until It Breaks is one of most underrated LP songs tbh.
|
| |
Until it breaks is one of the weirdest songs they made, seems more like an attempt of LP to make a gorilaz track, hell even brad delson tried to sing like fuckin 2D
Lost in the echo, castle of glass, tinfoil/powerless, and in my remains are hard jamz

until it breaks grew on me hard. skin to bone and roads untravelled are the weakest here and everything else is among my favorites from them
|
| |
Skin to bone and lies greed misery are abysmal, roads is enjoyable but compared with the other outstanding power ballads of this album is subpar as fuck
|
| |
Wronggg

idk Roads is one of their better ballads imo though yeah, almost everything would seem weak in comparison to Powerless

lies greed misery victimized castle of glass powerless and lost in the echo are undoubtedly my top 5 on here in no particular order
