Hell yeah. That was the first Thrice song I ever heard back in ‘03 and I was instantly hooked

This grew on me quite a bit. Bumping it up to 4.

I’ve noticed that Thrice albums in general are growers.

I don't think Artist holds up as much as there other records bar IC - largely down to the mixing I think, but wholly hell is Don't Tell and We Won't Ask a ridiculously strong closer and an underrated gem throughout the Thrice discography.

Despite being hella catchy, I'd nearly consider calling the song TAITA to be one of the weakest on the record.

The t/t is actually one of my least favorite songs of theirs, which seems to be heresy to say

Artuma, I can see that. But I’m just getting into Thrice and was underwhelmed by this at first. After a few more listens tho I’m really liking it.

I’m right in the middle on the t/t. I like it alright. If I were ranking the songs on the album, it’d be right around the middle.

My top tier songs for the album are about half of them actually. Not in any particular order:

T/t

Abolition of Man

Blood Clots

Melting Point

Paper Tigers

Silhouette

Under a Killing Moon

There's a lot I like about the title track but that main lead guitar part is just wonderful and pretty much every vocal line/melody Dustin delivers on it is top notch.

Nice.

Does anyone else like Abolition of Man like I do? I fucking love it and I don't feel like I see people mention it too often. That last minute alone is so good. Reminds me of the Awake and Avenge the Dead outro.

It's the best song on here, IMO. Definitely in my top Thrice tracks

Honestly hasn’t really hit me like that yet. Maybe it’s a matter of time, or maybe it never will. It’s a solid song for sure though.

Awww, yeah, Xing.

It was one of those songs that just kind of stood out to me all of a sudden a few years back. Which is odd and kind of cool since I have had this album since the year it was released. I never thought it was a bad song but I love that it became one of my favorites all of sudden over a decade after the album was released.
