So cool confirmed hyped hip-hop this year:
New ASAP Mob/Rocky debut
Madvillainy 2
KRIT debut
KendrickxCole/Kendrick debut
The Stoned Immaculate/Pilot Talk 3
(not confirmed but he SAID he turned it in but he always gives false hopes) Jay Electronica's debut.

So Jay Electronica's turned his album in and everything and now there's just a deal where Jay-Z won't release it until Electronica makes a single and he got in contact with MIA a bit ago so hopefully that'll be it and everything works out.

Don't give a fvck about Black Star 1 or 2.

the song leaked from it doesn't really sound very enticing. When people make a sequel to these things after being out of it for so long it's bound to disappoint. I mean, Dan the Automator hasn't done anything in AAAAGES. That's why I'm not especially looking forward to Madvillainy 2

Also, ASAP Nast and ASAP Ferg solo releases this year, "God Bless America" and TBA.

Yeah, DOOM's fallen off too. I mean it's understandable since he's over 40 now but it's time to hang up the uh...mask and not ruin his legacy.

I don't understand the hype behind this. I'm not trying to hate, but I don't see why this is any different than typical radio hip hop garbage. I don't like much rap, but people I know who feel the same think this (and Odd Future) is great and I just don't see why.

@silent: bcuz you are old fashioned

"because Clams Casino"
also there are a lot of producers on here that make better beats, 2

@KSK: Well judging by the fact that you don't like much rap I'm assuming you're looking for "deep"
lyrics and if it's just about drugs and bitches then WHOA THERE, and obviously this doesn't have the
"deep" appeal but it's not really supposed to. Obviously it has great, drugged out beats but besides
that Rocky has fantastic flow, sets a great atmosphere, he can be pretty clever sometimes and

this doesn't sound like radio hip hop at all unless the radio where you live is way better than where i do. most of the shit that gets played on the radio is just pure pop or auto-tuned rnb with half-assed guest verses. i also think some of the best tracks on here are not the clams casino ones. brand new guy fuckin slams.
