This was the moment I became Chud and donned my "The West has fallen" t-shirt.

This album slays and I'm glad my original CD (lol) still works despite nearly no surface area remaining that isn't a scratch.

Might get flak for this. But for the sort of music I like this is the only record that this band created really checks those boxes for me. Sounds like a heavier Faith No More with some black metal riffs. Big fan of that as I love FNM. Back in High School I started off with their debut and it was fine but I found the rhythm guitars quite boring in most places as they just seemed to be there to support the keys. Never liked their second album either. Sounded like bad circus music to me…

But what kept me coming back to this record was how much lore involved the guitars were. I really loved how Collapse Generation has so many moods in it in such a short time for example! The weirdness works so well here. So if you are looking for good Experimental/Alternative Metal I’d highly recommend this!
