it's been a while since i've listened to this, never rated it cuz i didn't really know how. i do know i enjoyed some of it, but i def understand all the backlash too

TMR is so full of catchy melodies you could almost dance to this. if somebody doesn't like this then let it be but i'll never understand when people say it's unlistenable etc. What are you deaf or something? You want unlistenable, get some MMM, this here is still song music.
Also to ignorants who think these were just shitty improvs: the album has been rehearsed about 14 hours a day for a year. When they recorded it in studio and producer asked them to do it again, just to be sure, they went in and recorded it exactly the same way. This is how it was meant to be.
Another thing: the musicians involved were one of the most talented rock musicians of the time (and in fact, of all time) and this album could have never been recorded by amateurs.
Show this album to modern classicists or avant-jazz composers and they call it brilliant but show it to kids who think Kid A is the most visionary album in the history (a great record btw) and you get this.
I'll probably just get "ur dumb" comments anyway but really, if you don't like it, great, but if you claim it to be the worst of all time etc then you're just uneducated, might just as well criticize Mingus or Citizen Kane.
