picked this up on vinyl and it sounded surprisingly bad. thought it was my speakers but then I realized that it does just kind of sound like crap and my rose tinted nostalgia glasses have been getting foggy. fantastic album no doubt about it, but if I had a damn time machine I would like to have a word with Kurt Ballou about the production.

this is may be even better than i remember, been about a decade since i last heard it! i absolutely adore the chuggy thrash riffs they have, so catchy and just heavy af. juggernaut is the song of a lifetime. amazing atmosphere as well on the longer ones. i may bump this to a 5.

For sure up there on top metalcore, and especially for taking an inventive and off the wall approach to it in parts. They are such a cool band in that they have so many different styles, what with going into space rock, post-hardcore, sludge influenced stuff etc. Though I am most partial to this era.
