only 3 tracks (the catalyst, black out, wretches and kings) got my attention, but i kinda like the electronic beats that the band have made. also i just cant stand with those 6 silly interludes

Liking this album. Oddly. Because I've hated LP for two albums.
Problem: the forced use of "fuck". Very humorous. Also: the 2-8 dozen interludes do nothing for me.
Seriously, I'm going to go through this: The Reqiuem, The Radiance, Empty Spaces, Jornada Del
Muerto, 'Wisdom, Justice and Love', and Fallout.
15 tracks on the album, and 6 are musical fillers. I've got nothing against fillers, but only when
they don't take up half the album. Kinda sad.
However.....Burning in the Skies, Blackout, Robot Boy, and Waiting for the End are just phenomenal
tracks.
By all means I should hate this album, yet despite the stupid interludes and a few uninteresting
tracks, the standout songs make it worthwhile.

So I was watching the DVD that comes with the CD (Yes I bought it), and the Guitarist comes across as a massive dick.
Album needs more listens, but has far too many interludes.

Yeah I was getting some strange vibes watching they behind the scenes stuff, I mean usually they are happy and really into it, this just seemed really awkward and stressfull.

This is a fanboy and wishful thinking review. Desperately looking and reaching for any positives and blindly ignoring the negatives. I've listened to the so-called best tracks: Burning in the Skies, When they Come for Me, Blackout, Wretches and Kings, and a handful of others. They are not good. Linkin Park have betrayed their fans theat helped them sell 10 million and deserve the Ire this album gets. Boring and Trite.

I look forward to this album. I'm into some electronica so it would be interesting to hear. Don't think it will blow me away though.

I watched the meeting of a thousand suns thing they had on hulu last night. You could tell they were stressed when they had to meet the album deadline to get the album finished and mixed.
