Definitely thought that was important - hence the 1st paragraph of the review. But, as you state, it takes 2 to tango & unless there were label pressures, then it was the band that would have played a major role in hiring him.

The only way I can forgive the band for this release is if all they wanted was to get a bigger audience and get their name out there because atm I feel they don't have the audience they deserve. If they return to their old style with that new audience then that will definitely justify this. Otherwise if they choose to continue with this style for the rest of their careers then most def that "indicate the death of 10 Years as we know."

Mostly agree with your statement, although I do believe they could be able to find a balance. It's not always easy finding that balance, but it is possible.

It's not easy finding a fat man's dick either....but some how they do it.

Yeah, he certainly knows a lot about finding fat men's dicks. I wonder how he came about that bit of info.

I found a link about why bands sell out and it was definitely an interesting read. I am not in any way saying that 10 Years have sold out because that isn't true but I thought it would be good to share. It is a long read though.

BTW have I ever told you guys how much I think that Fade Into The Dream is an amazing track? Probably the best in the whole album.

You mean 'Fade Into (The Ocean)'. Yeah, it's a great song & the one which would fit best on their previous albums.

Wow do these guys ever sound like Chevelle on this record, some songs I feel like they brought in Pete Loeffler to sing. It's the same voice.

Maybe Chevelle sound like 10 Years. ;-)

The only real similarity is vocals (the Maynard influence).
