Well, we usually rape the other colonies for medals at the C/W Games,

although the English may have our measure as with cricket.

I'm not too concerned with the Ashes this year. I'm pretty confident, it being under our own conditions that we are going to win. Marginally.

The only reason why we lost last year is because

a. England has shithouse weather and

b. England is shithouse

I rest my case.

As for the Commonwealth Games, I'm either barracking for the rats or the snakes.

I wonder if they found those volunteers with their new tracksuits.

It looks as if 'Wild At Heart' is being released as the 3rd single from this album! Ugh, why don't bands check with me first?

Nice dig, Jim.

There's two crap songs on this. Wild at Heart and Death Valley.

by the way, i don't think circles could really work as a single. it operates on a slow burn and requires a little patience to appreciate.

excuse me for witholding giving any credit to the mainstream masses!

While I think 'Circles' is the best song here, I don't necessarily disagree with Jim about it not being released as a single (although I'd prefer if they gave it a try as the final single).

Since they had such a prominent place on their live setlist for 'The Gap', I really thought they were building up to releasing that next.

The Gap is amazing and probably my favourite track on the album but I can't see the aussie mainstream loving it to be honest.

Too poppy and laid back record, Circles is awesome though.

I dunno Croc, the aussie mainstream didn't seem to have too much propbelms with the singles off of Silverchair's latest. You might be right though.

Fair call SS. Idefinitely would have preferred if they had taken it up a notch.
