Ween's first straight up classic album. They had great stuff before, no doubt--but everything works here, and it all hangs together. Love all the prog tropes--in the music, the lyrics, and the imagery.

i just don’t always vibe with the new wave zaniness of some of the other tracks. i like the more focused, sincere sound of that track. plus the synths on it are amazing.

Tim don’t be obtuse, there’s plenty of enjoyment to be found in the title track that you can’t from tracks like the Blarney Stone or waving my dick (though I love them)

I always felt the standout was Mutilated Lips
Basically a peak psychedelia track
Also yeah no way of knowing if Deaner is okay, but him stepping away from touring was prob a big help

I could imagine its taken a lot out of him at his age. Hope their passion for the music can get everyone together at least one more time.
Mutilated Lips is my favorite here too! My number one song I wanna catch Ween play if they tour again.
