@ Hollier

But wasn't such meant to be a metaphor? As in, this album was needlessly long, filled with an

abundance of filler and withholds bountiful amounts of things irrelevant notions?

I didn't really find the review pretentious by any means. People seem to mistake "big words" (and I

use such loosely) with being pretentious a lot nowadays. Pretentious would be if he was to apply an

irrelevant and unneeded metaphor to every other sentence. For the metaphors applied, I personally

found it fitting, with the slightest hint of irony.

And I am quite sure the review covered the negative aspects of the album, as well as the plentiful

negativity that the band in itself presents.

Also - when the fuck did 2k become 'long'? God DAMN our school systems suck.

At least half of this review in my opinion is unnecessary and does not show the albums negatives...it just shows the reviewer knows how to research philosophy. Im all for something different, but i fail how to see how this is a 'metaphor' lol metaphor? its a review not poetry rofl. It links loosely at best with what he/she is trying to achieve. I just feel this could of been written a whole lot better cutting out the long winded explanations about other topics and actually getting to the point about what is wrong with the album. Too much filler.

It's a metaphor for the inherent hypocrisy displayed throughout the hierarchy of the sput.... fuck it, I don't even know where I was going with that.

The game is over.

@ Hollier

I don't see the laughing matter behind applying metaphors to literary. No, a review is not poetry,

but it is a form of writing, one that slowly seems to crave more creativity and better methods of

style.

'I fail to see how this is a metaphor''

This is just my perception of the review itself, but it seems to have been written in a format that

an abundant of people would indeed find unnecessary and unneeded. Most of those people (MOST) are

proving themselves to be people whom rated the album highly, when the metaphor in itself seems to be

that this review is Colours in itself.

In terms of it being too long, I think that is personal perception. I didn't find it too long by any

means, but I myself read and write bountiful amounts every week. So in turn, a 2k review doesn't

seem like it is long. In fact, I wish more reviews were written to this fashion of length. I mean...

video reviewers end up having reviews clock in at 20 mins.

EDIT: Damn things move fast... need to write quicker >_> _>

Don't you mean literature? Or am I missing something here?
