Sort of... There are definitely some comparisons between S&W and Circa Survive. And I think I mentioned 'Translating the Name' in the review.

My love life ain't none of your concern Davis.
And yea he might sound sorta like anthony, but he doesn't know how to use his vocals very well.

I think he knows how to use them, but he could definitely improve his variety.

If I'm not mistaken, this is one of the many post-hardcore bands that I've checked out in which the vocals, in a make-or-break situation, turned me off.

I am listening to them again.
I don't like CS because of the vocals, I guess I can say the same for this.

This album would be perty good if buddy didn't decide to sing one not through-out the whole thing.

Yeah, vocals can often be a make or break factor for me too, but it;s usually only initially. Once you get used to a singer, it's smooth sailing from there... Whether it be post-hardcore (S&W and CS), punk (Billy Talent) or even folk (The Tallest Man on Earth).

I realized earlier today that post-hardcore (and as an extension, screamo) is more often than not make-or-break via vocals for me.
