The beginning riff in All Bodies is beastly.

I remember I listened to this once, and didnt really like it all that much. I didnt listen thoroughly enough to come to a solid opinion, which I might soon.

The intro to the title track is epic though.

I was bored so I taught myself the whole intro to Selkies on keyboard, pretty badass. Want to learn the ending solo on keys too since I'm too lazy to learn how to play guitar. Amazingly fun song to drum to as well. Fuck I love this band.

Oh man, yes. I was learning some songs on guitar off of this record, but quickly got frustrated and gave up.

So, I decided that playing BTBAM songs on bass would be more pace. HA, no. Stupid Dan Briggs.

I would give this something between a 4 and a 4.5 but I can't. It is just a smidge better than Colors. It just has so much more staying power, even with its lame filler slowing things down.

Outrageously amazing band.

And live? Oh sweet Jesus. I found myself wondering if they had just put the record on. They played "Colors" straight through, then came back with "All Bodies," "Selkies: The Endless Obsession," "Mordecai," and a "The Primer"/"Alaska" mash-up for a finale. Absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. One of the greatest live bands I've ever seen... and that's a lot of fucking bands.
