new songs are so fucking good. this is one of my favorite bands but i kind of agree with breakdown, people need to just enjoy the music

I'm a fanboy purely because of how badass I think their music sounds. I'm also a sucker for concept albums.


I wouldn't say they're revolutionizing modern hardcore, but Defeater is definitely the best hardcore act that's still active in my eyes.

Band is so incredibly overrated. Their 'concept' has been stretched to the point that's it's an embrassing gimmick, written at the level of child's first stumble into poetry.
