personally....still life is great, but that album doesnt do it as much as this one does.............still very good nonetheless.....although the moor basically owns all songs on this album except ghost of perdition

^^^Yeah, I think so too

My fav song on Still Life is actually Godhead's Lament, followed closely by White Cluster, such a great closer. The first two tracks on this album are my favorite, so it's kinda downhilll for me after that. I honestly might have felt differently about this album if the tracks had been in a different oder, progression over the course of an album is important to me.

I actually like this more than Still Life. It might be tied with My Arms, Your Hearse and Blackwater Park for my favorite.

^^^That line rules. Mikael's growl is so good.

I love Mikael's cleans probably better than his growls, even though both are phenomenal. The way Watershed is shaping up, I think it could be better than this. I haven't really heard an Opeth album I didn't enjoy though.

Angry people on MX.

This album holds host to some pretty awesome tracks. Reverie/Harlequin Forest and Ghost of Perdition are my faves, closely followed by The Grand Conjuration.

Reverie/Harlequin Forest is my favorite Opeth song. The intro drums, guitars, and vocals are so breathtaking.
