I finally bought this and decided to try and overcome the dislike for the vocals. Holy shit was I wrong, I'm hooked, its beautiful, its brutal, its absolutely crushing. The lyrics, the guitars, the bass, the drums, it melds together like some perfect nightmare. I can't wait to hear Jane Doe since apparently it is their masterpiece.

Jacob WAS a great vocalist, his voice is pretty shot now. But layers and distortion make it sound decent I guess.

Ballou is awesome producer, what the hell are you talking about dude? Have you heard Misery Index - Traitors, Disfear - Live the Storm, or any Trap Them? Open your ears, dude.
And he is good guitar player. I liked chaotic solos that were added to this album.
