I think that on occasions they tried too much to have their cake & eat it two on this album. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good, solid LP. But I think they now have to decide which direction to go in & leave any traces of what is basically a nu-metal sound behind.

Personally I prefer having my cake and eating it three

I can't see your Grover avatar at the moment. Has he got a cloak of invisibility on?

You know I've gotten that complaint a few times recently so I might have to change it. But with Super Grover I wouldn't be too surprised.

Might be on certain versions of operating systems.

You're probably right. Maybe I'll go searching for a new one soon.
On a different note I've been watching House lately and whenever they show brain scans I keep thinking of this album cover

Whatever happened to Breaking Romulus?

Definitely still in business. Just taking a short hiatus.

I thought the rest of us cracked the $hits because Romulour demanded his name be in the band name.

Yeah, I can understand that point of view. I think they do play it safe a bit here, I just really love the sound they've developed, and if it ain't broke don't fix it, you know. I would like to see them branch out a bit on the next release though.

I still can't get over no outright acoustic ballad. That goes against the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" theory.

They didn't have one in Phobia, and the ballad material on this easily beats the softer material there. We Are Not Alone had a couple, but for me the ballad material here is their best, even without acoustics. I mean come on, "Rain, rain go away"? That's one of their worst songs.

Fair comeback.. Although, I don't mind 'Rain'. I hate getting caught out in the rain & it seems to always happen to me.
I was actually thinking of the acoustic version of 'Diary of Jane', which roolz as much as the original version.

The acoustic version is better imo.
Blow Me Away is my favorite BB song.

I don't mind Rain, but the only reason I don't skip it is because it's the last song.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I always listen to Phobia through the outro, never cared for the acoustic version much myself, didn't put it on my iPod so I usually forget about it.

Boo-urns. I've really liked all their alternate acoustic versions, which aren't that difficult to find around the traps.

Acoustic versions of songs don't usually interest me, although the ones they put out recently for Give Me A Sign and Without You were great, but Ben's vocals are often off on the other acoustic/live stuff I've heard from them.
