I will I love Sputnik and plan on writing reviews after TEE is over. I'm not a huge fan of metalcore but the right bands have grown on me, ABR being one of them. I will try my hand at finding some better metalcore, I'm sure there is some, as you've alluded to. I'll put up a metalcore reccommendations list now to see if there really is some better metalcore.

This is pretty awesome as far as the genre goes.

It's definitely one of the best metalcore releases this year, and one of my favorite metalcore albums ever.

The production sound of this album wasn't as good as messengers or thrill seeker...

Agreed, it's really low. Especially with headphones.

No bass at all, and I don't mean guitar

It doesn't matter, this is still better than both of those albums overall.

The production on this is way better than Messengers and Thrill Seeker. Messengers' production was a trebly joke.

China cymbal was much too dominate in the mix as well, actually whole kit was mixed too high.

My gripe is that it seems too low, on headphones anyway

Messenger had great sounding drums that overpowered everything, very thin and cold production.

Thrill Seeker was too muddy and the vocals were terribly layered and the drums were washed out.

I think Constellations found a great balance, I love the production of it.

Yeah the drums sounded great, but you could hear nothing else.

I prefer the production on Messengers personally, different strokes I guess.

well messengers sounded heavy because the drums were way up on the mix, especially the bass drum. It sounded so good because Matt is an amazing drummer.

I also prefer the production on Constellations though
