I don't really know of any doom metal artists that I've tried out besides Black Sabbath and these guys, but yeah, I guess I'm not a big fan of it.

dude Sabbath's first 3 albums practically laid the groundwork for doom metal wtf are you talking about?

It was more proto-doom back then. Actual doom started with Saint Vitus and Trouble's debuts in 84.

@Betray Some "doom" metal bands still play fast ala "Children of the Grave" or "Symptom of the Universe." Check Trouble songs like "The Tempter" or "R.I.P."
