The opinion of this album seems to have just shifted from over bearing praise to raw hatred. Well, i'll fill in the middle ground and say while entertaining, it gets stale and fruity after a while. 4 or 5 songs are fun at a time but a whole album, na, I can't take it.

Even though I completely disagree with this review, it was well written. But this doesn't excuse the fact that I think you have no idea what you're talking about with lines like this:
the holy grail for all tasteless metalheads who are deeply enveloped in their ever decreasing standards when it comes to originality and well written music.
I'm curious as to what you think a well written song is? Elitism if I've ever heard it.
but consistently irritating chugga chug riffing, below par drumming and solos that are thought to be superb purely on the tempo at which they’re played.

Those are just a few examples. Either, you're a really clever troll or you're listening to metal that I've simply never stumbled across.

technical skill does not necessarily equate to anything positive when it comes to songs/albums overall. and if i were you i wouldn't make assumptions about who can or cannot play particular music instruments, because you'll end up wrong.
