One of my favorite albums when I was 12. Still up there. If you look up "grunge" in the dictionary there should be pictures of Nevermind, Ten, and this album.
|
| |
I'd switch Nevermind with JoF and this with SUK and then agree.
Nevermind is a dece album though, I have it 4'd. But Nirvana's one of
those bands that I can't jam much, I dig 'em in small, sparse doses.

Dirt is so much grungier than jar of flies.

Nah Ten came way too late to the scene to be a grunge definer.
How about Green River's debut ;) first thing ever labeled grunge.
@Danny: "Outshined", "Slaves & Bulldozers", and "Holy Water" have to be my top 3 on here.
|
| |
Can't go wrong with those Ars.

Fuck I forgot Dirt. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and Soundgarden. That's pretty much the big four of grunge right there and the place anyone would go to start getting into grunge.
|
| |
Yeah, pretty much.
I've always been more of a PJ guy since I pretty much owe to them my love for alt-rock. But I like SG and AiC almost as much.
|
| |
"These guys remind me of a heavier, more punk version of Led Zeppelin tbh"
More like a punky Black Sabbath with Robert Plant on vocals.

IDK. I think they kinda sound like Soundgarden.
|
| |
One of the things that first caught my attention about SG was that Cornell sounded a lot like Robert Plant
|
| |
He's got more power though
