Been a long ass time since I listened to this. Am gonna go through as much of Kayo Dot's discography as I can but it is rather intimidating haha.

Downsing Anemone is hard to digest, rest of their albums are kinda easy to sink in.

Blue Lambency Downward and Gamma Knife are good at their best and meandering bullshit at their worst.

The BLD title track Right Hand Is the One I Want, and the Sow Submits meander a hell of a lot. I like the more indirect, confusing composition style but can see it not working for some. Coyote is the one I've never really clicked with; the emotion never hit me full on and a lot of tracks seem to sprawl as a result. One day, maybe...

I like Gamma Knife (especially the title track, which is a highlight of their discog), but find it hard to pick anything else out from it that Hubardo didn't do better.

coffins is solid from what i remember, wasnt huge into it but ya know

thought hubardo was a return to form to driver who is normally a widely hit and miss artist

bld is one of his biggest misses imo

while the motw stuff and the super early kayo dot is some of my favorite prog-related music ever
