I feel like the hate for this band is just a relic of a different time, in recent years Sputnik had embraced all sorts of popular music. Not saying they’re good, just not so especially egregious. Back when these guys were popular, they were hated bc their music was on all the fucking time, they were kind of annoying people, and there was still a YouTube comments section approach to popular music wherever people gathered to talk about it. I’ve never met someone who claims to be a fan of this band and yet they sold millions of records so someone’s gotta be lying lol
