Dude by your logic you would have to be revolutionizing an art form to be considered an artist. By your logic Beethoven wouldn't be an artist because Bach did what he was doing decades earlier.

So what did we decide in the end? I mean would you shag her or not? Cos like sometimes she's hot and sometimes she's not and sometimes she's kind of inbetween isn't she?

Even if her stage performances had any thematic relevance to her music (which barely scratches the surface of the human mind), I would hesitate in calling her an artist of any kind simply for wearing abnormal costumes (some of which are works of art but they were certainly not designed or manufactured by Lady GaGa) and dancing around lavish decorations.
