Roadside is a way better song for their mellow side.

I love Roadside too but nah Swing Life Away is (as you would say) the bomb diggity

I do like saying that.
I dunno, I mean, it's not a bad song. I just... I don't think it worked with that album. Maybe if it was on a later one. But still, it is kind of what got them some more recognition, so that's good and all.

I like it because it was so different to the rest of that album
I mean going from State of the Union to Swing Life Away in the space of one album is pretty impressive

To be fair, nothing on that album sounds even close to State of the Union, which really bummed me out with my first few listens.
It just kind of felt like one of those things where the only reason they put it on there was because the label made them (it was their major label debut, after all).

Mmhmm. I was bummed pretty hard when they dropped the 'hardcore' almost entirely on it, except Union.

Album definitely doesn't deserve a 2. It's still great and has some absolutely fantastic tracks.

Hard not to like it. Funny how Tim was the one who wanted it off the album and now the band doesn't let make decisions anymore

"dude come on everyone likes savior"
yeah it's one of the few actually decent songs on the album

If they had just ended the record on Savior, it would've been 10 times better
