haven't listened to this in a long time, but I bumped this yesterday and I was hooked, like I never enjoyed it as much as I do now. Which is absurd! I just listened to Insomniac and Nimrod recently and while I do still enjoy them they sure lost a lot of their impact. Insomniac mainly which used to be my favorite back in the day

I also distinctly remember the MTV awards when this album was out and where the band played live leading to one of the hosts claiming ‘punks not dead’ and despite absolutely fucking loving it I thought. ‘Punk?’ I don’t think yanks know what punk is.
