That's kinda incorrect. Ambience is great, not post-rock great but still. I'll give you the monotonous roars but that's it.
qwe, their earlier stuff is so much better though, if you want to start there.

If the chugga chugga parts were replaced with cool riffs and if the lead parts were more well put together and didn't rely so heavily on delay and stuff the album would be so much better. Some of the songs (like Parallels) are actually really good though...and by some I mean like two...

Don't listen he's a fag. A less intense Shai Hulud, with strong songwriting that avoids cliche guitar dominance and allows all member of the band to shine. Only two instances of clean singing which actually sound good.

Even though I agree, I've never understood how having "range" became so important. Pretty much every good metalcore album has a vocalist with a pretty limited range.
EDIT: Waior: some cunt whined that I'd been making him feel uncomfortable so they banned me and for some reason every comment went with that. I actually asked but never got an answer if it was a site issue that occured with the banning or if it was some new punishment. Either way ban=comments gone. But reviews stay so it's a semi-win-semi-lose.
