this album is actually not that bad. a decent mix of space/prog metal and alternative rock. the ones after it are horrible though

davey just usually digs all the shitty pop rock stuff so i figured this can't be very good if even he can't enjoy this

You've never tried it so how could you assume? I get it's 30stm but that doesn't mean they're not capable of writing engaging tracks lol. There is actually plenty of well done songs on here whether you'd like to believe it or not. This isn't even close to pop rock either. It's actually pretty heavy.
