I also don't think it is a good album. The singles become so incredibly boring after you have heard them a gazillion times.

Agreed^. With the exception of Holiday. That one never gets old.
|
| |
you dont need to hear the singles a billion times for them to be boring, they are played every 5 minutes on the radio. the only good one is Holiday and sometimes that even doesnt cut it.

^their singles were garbage to begin with (except for holiday).

"They are played every 5 minutes on the radio."
they WERE played every 5 mins on the the radio, everyone's bored of them now, so theyre playing that same old shitty pop again
|

I hear fucking boulevard of broken dreams almost every time I turn on the radio

You still live in 2004/2005?

2005 Nicky, Jesus of suburbia hasn't been that overplayed though
mind you, it's one long ass song for a pop-punk track

Wish I hadn't bought this, its just that, I liked Dookie so much and I keep hoping (perhaps unfairly) that they'll do it again
its alright, I like Jesus of Suburbia and give me novacaine (no idea why)

I actually heard the radio edit of JoS and it was cut so much that it was butchered, its an ok song.
I prefer Green day to the same old dance/pop/rnb stuff they have now.
