Nah, I like this better. The Mars Volta is awesome too, but At the Drive-In were just... the shit, idk. Have you seen live videos of ATD-I? Bands just don't come that way anymore. This band is a legend.

At The Drive-In were arguably the most experimental post-hardcore band.

I don't really see how. I was referring to ROC era. I don't really know of any post-hardcore records that experiment more than Relationship. Enlighten me.

edit: Rather, if there was one, I'd really like to hear it.

I've only ever heard 13 Songs, but I guess I'll look into their other albums. Roc is still pretty out there, generally, as a hardcore record.

not really out there at all. high pitched vocals and some cool guitar effects doesn't mean it's experimental

Not really what I was referring to at all, but there's no point in delving into it, seeing as this conversation isn't really getting anywhere.

Armchairpolitician or Down I Go are both more experimental I'd say

just the statement 'most experimental post-hardcore' or whatever you said was retarded

hell Refused too

An opinion on whether a record is experimental or not doesn't reflect one's taste that much. I could give you my reasonings, but you don't seem too interested.

edit: Well perhaps saying they were arguably the most experimental was ridiculous, but to say they aren't experimental(or atleast on their last album) is just as ridiculous.
