I just cant score it higher than that because I have to skip whole chunks of the damn thing.

people can't seem to grasp how those chunks of "noise" create a certain atmosphere throughout the album, maybe if people actually sat down and really LISTENED to this they'd understand how genius this album really is.

If you don't like the ambient sections, get super high and listen to the album start to finish. You'll probably change your mind.

Also, there's no way corenotgore is a real person.

hahaha you're right, that is hilarious. There's so many different things there on his profile to make fun of, it's not even fair.

I like this, but I'm in the minority here and think this is my least favorite LP of theirs. Granted, I haven't properly listened to Octahedron yet...

You just dont seem to get that just because I dont like the 'certain atmosphere' doesnt mean I didnt 'get' it. Its still twaddle in my eyes, regardless of how engaged I was while listening to it - which have been varied each time. The 'atmosphere' just isnt that interesting to me. *shrug*

I guess running time with ambience where nothing interesting happens = atmosphere.

Take a quick look at my ratings before you ridicule/flame me (you won't have to scroll down much at all).

Easily my favorite album that manages to be consistently good whilst continually being plagued by illogical drivel and outlandish "ambience".
