You may be right Trif, it was very tough. My prediction when I made the ranking was that someone would think ‘Nylon Smile‘ was too high and ‘Threads‘ too low. It’s essentially level with the two above it, there was no rhyme or reason to the ordering of those particular songs.

Nylon Smile is amazing yes, all of this is.

This is Portishead‘s best album. Also the transition from Nylon Smile into The Rip is just heavenly.

It's super good agreed. That kraut flavour suits them so well, very curious if the potential follow up is going to shake things up again.
