why would you want me of all people to be the judge, i hate everyone

"much darker tone then most other albums i'd consider 'sex albums' that's all"

what other albums do you consider sex albums

i guess it depends on your ste but this has always been pretty high up on my sex albums list but definitely never in a 'hate sex' kind of way

basically most things trip hop, jazz, some things electronic. mezzanine, maxinquaye, in a silent way, till the quiet comes all spring to mind

which are all pretty dark in their own way but none of those i would consider depressing or hopeless or despondent like this one

honestly the s/t would work better w/ the 'hate sex' description, far more bitter sounding and angry

mezzanine is way more depressing hopeless and despondent than this tbh

never got that vibe from it i guess, always seemed more dark in a sensual way while to me this is far more cold, distant

"s/t is better"

Ya know I might actually agree. This has the obvious standouts but the atmosphere there is 10x better

s/t is p amazing in its own right ye, however it dont have the kind of variety this has, plus i prefer the production here

i dont think either of them are particularly loaded in the 'variety' department but thats not really the point anyway. they both got that distinct dark brooding 90s trip hop vibe throughout.
